Maintenance Coordinator - Permanent in Winnipeg, Manitoba For Sale

The People Bank, a division of Design Group Staffing is currently recruiting an experienced Maintenance Coordinator for our client in Winnipeg Manitoba Job Duties: Planning of maintenance to prevent downtime of machines, equipment and faculties' maintaining all related records, reports, requisitions, forms, store room stocking etc. This is a demanding role and requires experience, multi tasking, high degree of technical skills, attention to detail, and high energy, and can work under pressure Must Haves: * Red Seal trade certificate in either Electrical or Mechanical a must
* Maintenance supervisory experience * Project management experience, from inception to completion * Experienced with full range of procurement including meetings with contractors
* Strong maintenance back ground in the steel industry
* Forklift experience Major: * Generate reports, track work orders and associated costs and assign to proper cost centers.
* Design schedules for new equipment, and maintaining equipment service timetables. This includes re-work and unfinished maintenance of machines.
* Attend daily and weekend planning schedule meetings and assist in coordinating the weekend maintenance needs. Minor: * Maintain records, forms, blue prints, catalogues, manuals, handbooks, including plant equipment drawings and the PLC library.
* Conduct plant tours as necessary. Shift: 6:00AM M-F, 5:30AM S+S * Hours includes but not limited to: two 12 hr day weekends a month over seeing maintenance crews & contractors alike, daily 10 hour shifts, and are on call for off shift and weekend support if required
