SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER DESCRIPTION: IPS, a leading provider of network, security and compliance services, is looking for an experienced technology sales professional to join our growing team. LOCATIONS: • Winnipeg RESPONSIBILITIES: • Achieve and exceed personal Gross Profit sales targets/quotas. • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, vendors and partners. • Prospect, qualify, close and manage the sales of IPS’ IT services and solutions. • Coordinate and engage the necessary resources - sales, operations, finance and marketing teams and vendor resources- to achieve success. • Liaise with the Technical team and understand the applicable technology solution in order to help lead a successful implementation. SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS: • 5yrs + sales background. • Background in the IT industry. Strong technical product knowledge is a definite asset. • Previous background working with large enterprise clients. • Existing business relationships are assets. • Proven work history of exceeding annual revenue and profit targets. • Enterprise account planning and managerial background. • Demonstrated expertise to build executive relationships. • Effective communication and presentation skills. • Strong people skills and an experienced negotiator. • Expertise to work both individually and in a team environment.
