This 250 cc Harley Sprint features a shortstroke 1967 Sprint eng. built by Lancaster Sprint w.high performance cam, piston, 30 mm Dell'Orto carb. Frame is raked +5 degrees & swing arm ext seven in. Alloy rims by Buchanan. Bike built by F.Hector, multiple Bonneville record holder. In 2010 bike ran fourteen mph over 250 cc pushrod class record.Faulty valve collar prevented back-up run. Bike is extremely stable on the salt and easy to start and ride. It is ready to race now.I installed a correct "double bubble" fairing making the bike eligible for two classes. Engine can be swapped out to take a 350cc eng. easily, opening up two more classes.The workmanship is excellent and the bike looks fantastic. Health reasons make sale necessary.Delivery to Bonneville or other land speed venue may be possible but that is a separate discussion.
