Korg Poly800 Synthesizer in Winnipeg, Manitoba

The Korg Poly 800 was one of the first affordable programmable polyphonic synthesizers with a MIDI interface back in the early 80s. This one is an unmodified original of the first generation model without a leaky battery on the motherboard. It is a true closet queen because I played it very little at home only, and then stored it for more than 30 years. The main sign of its age is tape residue at its back, as it was packed well. I have installed a fresh set of Energizer batteries and restored it to its factory preset sounds and sequencer demo, and it is ready to be used for the analog sounds of the many synth-pop bands that used to play one. It's as close to new as you will ever get, and I also include a new and modern A/C adapter.
